Harassment in the Workplace
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Workplace harassment is not only about sex and gender – it includes differences in culture, age, religion, race and other protected classes. Workplace Harassment can happen on any job situation, in a client or customer space - any form of employee discrimination that falls within the age, sex, religion, gender, race and other categories is illegal.
This course focuses on how “jokes” may cross the line and become harassment. You will learn the definition of harassment, why a workplace harassment policy is critical, how to avoid harassment through management and staff training programs, and what to do when it happens.
